Dr. Wesley Brashear is an Associate Research Scientist at Texas A&M University’s High Performance Research Computing (HPRC). He received his Ph.D. in Genetics, where his dissertation utilized a variety of bioinformatic approaches to explore genomic evolution within the felid family. His work at the HPRC includes advanced user enablement, researcher training in HPC utilization, programming, and bioinformatics, and application development for the HPRC’s Open OnDemand interfaces.
