Rachel Palumbo is an HPC data analytics engineer on the Analytics and Monitoring team at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). As part of the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) she contributes to the center’s mission to advance HPC operations to enable scientific computing. The Analytics and Monitoring team works to better understand, utilize, and visualize the large amount of system data made available daily to inform decision makers and operations staff. She helps manage current Kafka and Elasticsearch services for HPC metrics and log data and expand data services as well as analytics and monitoring efforts for ORNL’s new exascale computer, Frontier.
