Weipeng Zheng is a professor of engineering at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and a faculty member at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). He received his PhD in meteorology from UCAS in 2008. Professor Zheng's primary research focuses on the development and application of Earth system models and marine environment forecasting systems, as well as research in paleoclimate simulations and air-sea interactions.
