Tzanio Kolev is a computational mathematician at the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), where he works on advanced finite element meshing, discretizations and solver algorithms for large-scale HPC applications. Tzanio is the project leader for the MFEM finite element library and was the director of the CEED (Center for Efficient Exascale Discretizations) co-design center in the DOE Exascale Computing Project (ECP).
