Xin Liang
Biography
Dr. Xin Liang is a tenure-track assistant professor with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Kentucky. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant professor at the Missouri University of Science and Technology and as a Computer/Data Scientist in the Workflow Systems Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Riverside in 2019 and his bachelor’s degree from Peking University in 2014. His research interests include high-performance computing, parallel and distributed systems, scientific data management and reduction, big data analytics, and scientific visualization.
