Sophia Honisch leads the public relations efforts of the High Performance Computing Center (HLRS) at the University of Stuttgart, including the center’s social media channels, media relations activities, as well as communications towards the broader public. As a communications expert, Honisch has contributed to multiple funded HPC (research) projects in the work packages of communication and dissemination, e.g. EXCELLERAT — the European Centre of Excellence for Engineering Applications. Before joining HLRS in 2020, she worked as a consultant in an international public relations agency. Honisch holds a joint master's degree in strategic communication and public relations from the University of Stirling, Scotland, and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain.
