Biography
Minh Chung is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), where he specializes in the integration of high-performance computing (HPC) and quantum computing. Originally from Vietnam, Minh completed his PhD at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), focusing on a proactive approach for dynamic load rebalancing in distributed memory systems. His research interests encompass parallel programming models, task scheduling, applied machine learning and deep learning in HPC systems, as well as performance characterization in HPC-quantum computing integration. Besides that, he is also passionate about advancing the frontier of computational efficiency and exploring innovative solutions at the intersection of traditional and emerging computing paradigms.
