Lisa is an HPC Performance Engineer at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) at Berkeley Lab. Her background is in mathematics and high-performance computing. Before joining NERSC in May 2022, Lisa completed her Ph.D. in numerical mathematics at the University of Wuppertal (Germany) and did a postdoc in the Computational Research Division at Berkeley Lab. Her work focuses on developing high-performance computing software to accelerate the simulation of various applications from climate models to electromagnetism.
