Biography
Hai Zhou received the B.E. degree in computer science and technology from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST), Wuhan, China, in 2020. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China. His main research interests include cloud storage, network coding, and erasure coding. He has published 11 papers as the first author in international conferences and journals, including IEEE/ACM SC, IEEE TC, IEEE TPDS, ACM TACO, IEEE ICCD, ACM ICPP, etc. He is a Professional Member of the China Computer Federation (CCF). He received the Baosteel Outstanding Student Special Award (only 25 awardees for China) in 2019 and served on the program committees at international conferences ACM ITSMS in 2022. He serves as the PI of the Basic Research Program for Young Students (Doctoral Students) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No.623B2037).
