Jeff leads the Mojo frontend and compiler team at Modular, developing a next-generation programming language for AI that combines systems programming and Python. Jeff has worked on MLIR for 5 years. Before moving to Modular to build a novel kernel codegen system, Jeff was at Google, where he built several core MLIR components and tinkered with Tensorflow. He got his degree from the University of Waterloo.
