Biography
Wei Zhang is a Postdoc Researcher in the Scientific Data Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He also serves as a visiting researcher at Ohio State University. His research interests broadly lies in scientific computing and data management. Currently, he works on the proactive data container project. A list of his selected publications are as follows:
1) DART: distributed adaptive radix tree for efficient affix-based keyword search on HPC systems (PACT '18) (DOI: 10.1145/3243176.3243207),
2) MIQS: Metadata Indexing and Querying Service for Self-Describing File Formats (SC '19) (DOI: 10.1145/3295500.3356146),
3) Exploring Metadata Search Essentials for Scientific Data Management (HiPC '19) (DOI: unknown yet).

He also participated in the research on graph-based metadata management, geo-spatial data mining and analytics. In these research efforts, he also published his research works as either the leading author or the co-author, including:
