Dr. Martinello is an associate professor at Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). He got his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INPT-2005). He has authored more than 200 papers in leading journals and conferences related to computer networks and network security. Also, he has been very active on computer networks community, being general chair of Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (2015) and TPC chair in 2024. His main research interests lie in the field of Computer Networks, particularly in Software-Defined Networks, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence applied to Networks.
