Winona Snapp-Childs
Biography
Dr. Winona Snapp-Childs is Chief Operating Officer, Pervasive Technology Institute and Director of Research Partnerships, University IT Services at Indiana University. Dr. Snapp-Childs is a workforce development expert with funding from three different National Science Foundation awards to support advanced cyberinfrastructure workforce development for CI professionals. She is the principal investigator (PI) of the Midwest Research Computing and Data Consortium; PI of CI PIVOT (CyberInfrastructure Professionals InnoVating and brOadening the adoption of advanced Technologies), a collaborative project funded by NSF's SCIPE (Strengthening the Cyberinfrastructure Professionals Ecosystem) program; and director of ACCESS Operations' STEP (Student Training and Engagement Program).
