Biography
"My name is Befikir Bogale. I am a recent computer science graduate from the University of Tennessee, where I will continue my studies as a graduate student. I have been fortunate to work under Dr. Taufer on HPC (High-Performance Computing) research at the Global Computing Lab, initially as an undergraduate and now as a graduate research assistant. I have also had the privilege of interning or collaborating with institutions such as Los Alamos National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory, where I delved into high-performance computing research. Currently, I am engaged in the Thicket project in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as an undergraduate research assistant. I will further this work as a Computing Graduate Scholar throughout the summer of 2024.
