Satish S. Nair is a Robert H. Buescher Faculty Fellow and professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Missouri. Dr. Nair’s background is in the area of mathematical modeling of systems and their control, with focus on uncertainties and robust designs. His focus for the past 15 years he has been collaborating with neuroscientists at MU and outside on reverse engineering brain circuits at molecular, cellular, systems, and behavioral levels. Importantly, the Lab strive to generate fundamental understanding of structure-function relationships, including via reduced order and machine learning formulations.
