Biography
Dan Ernst is Director of Supercomputing System Technology at Nvidia, where he leads pathfinding efforts for Nvidia’s Supercomputing products. Prior to Nvidia, Dan has led technology pathfinding in multiple domains across HPC and cloud systems architecture, including leading the memory architecture/technology team at Microsoft Azure and as principal investigator and architect of Cray’s exascale computing programs. Dan received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, where he studied high-performance, low-power, and fault-tolerant microarchitectures.
