Biography
Dr. Friese is a research scientist in the HPC group and member of the Scalable Computing and Data team at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). His research interests have focused on runtime and system software for novel networks and heterogeneous architectures. Recently he as been exploring the use of the Rust programming language for use within HPC environments.
