Daniele Gregori is the E4 Chief Scientific Officer [IEEE Member nr. 97548282]. He did his PhD on online control system for LHCb detectors at CERN, he worked at INFN Tier1 Data Center and he is an expert on parallel file system, automation tool, and data tiering.
He entered the E4 team in 2015, bringing know-how on high performance storage, installation and management.
From 2020 he is leading the E4 European Project Division and he is responsible for the E4 contribution to more than 15 European projects dedicated to the development of new EPI processor, Exascale Co-development and HPC green-computing .
