Istvan Z. Reguly
Biography
Istvan Zoltan Reguly received his MSc (2010) and PhD (2014) in computer science from the Pázmány Péter Catholic University's Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics (PPCU ITK). His thesis focused on the abstraction and implementation of unstructured mesh algorithms. He spent 11 months at NVIDIA as an intern, working on algebraic multigrid methods on GPUs, and three years at the University of Oxford's Oxford e-Research Centre, working with Professor Mike Giles.
Istvan leads the high performance computing lab at PPCU ITK, researching the design and implementation of domain specific languages. His group, in collaboration with the University of Warwick, develops and maintains the OPS and OP2 domain specific languages.
