Biography
Jinlong Yang is a professor of chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a fellow of the American Physical Society. He received his PhD in condensed matter physics from USTC in 1991. His research interests involve the development of first-principles methods and their application to clusters, nanostructures, solid materials, surfaces, and interfaces.
