Jeffrey Carver
Biography
Jeffrey C. Carver is a James R. Cudworth Professor of Computer Science at the University of Alabama. His research focuses on software engineering for research software, human factors, empirical software engineering, and peer code review. His current research focuses on how scientific software developers can effectively integrate software engineering practices into their development workflow. He has been one of the primary organizers of the Software Engineering for Science workshop series. He is the vice chair of the steering committee for the United States Research Software Engineer (US-RSE) Association. He is an associate editor-in-chief for Computing in Science & Engineering and co-editor of the Software Engineering track. His papers are available on his website (http://carver.cs.ua.edu).
