Ali Heydari
Biography
Bio: Ali Heydari is a distinguished engineer and Data Center Technologist at NVIDIA, leading the development of advanced cooling technologies for high-density data centers. His work focuses on liquid cooling innovations, digital twin modeling for data centers, and enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.
Previously, Ali served as Senior Director of Technical Operations at Rigetti Quantum Computing, where he played a key role in developing quantum data centers and launching Quantum Cloud Services. His work integrated advanced cooling systems for quantum computing.
Earlier in his career, Ali held senior engineering roles at Twitter and Facebook. At Twitter, he led the development of custom server hardware, and at Facebook, he contributed to the Open Compute Project, shaping efficient data center designs.
Ali has also been a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, specializing in energy efficiency and thermal management. He has published over 100 journal and conference papers and holds more than 100 U.S. patents in data center cooling, energy efficiency, and high-performance server technologies.
