Yunquan Zhang is a professor at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS) in Beijing. He received his BS in computer science and engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1995. He received a PhD in computer software and theory from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. His research interests are in the areas of high-performance parallel computing, with particular emphasis on large-scale parallel computation and programming models, high-performance parallel numerical algorithms, and performance modeling and evaluation for parallel programs.
