Pengfei Wang is a professor at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on high-performance computing, heterogeneous computing, numerical analysis and predictability. He provided the first MPI-OpenMP parallel multiple precision Taylor scheme in 2012. He is also the co-author of HIP version of LICOM3 published in GMD (2021).
