Biography
Dirk Pflüger is Professor for Scientific Computing in the Institute for Parallel and Distributed Systems and in the SimTech Cluster of Excellence at the University of Stuttgart. He received his Diplom (MSc) from the University of Stuttgart, a Master's degree from the University of Sydney, and his PhD from the Technical University of Munich. His research interests include high-dimensional problems and simulations; sparse grids; scientific ML; data-driven problems and their efficient implementation; and performance portability, hardware-aware hybrid parallelizations, and high-performance computing.
