Biography
Chen-Chun Chen is currently in his fifth year as a Ph.D. student at The Ohio State University, under the guidance of Dr. D.K. Panda. His primary focus revolves around developing the innovative MVAPICH MPI library with a special emphasis on the GPU side. His academic journey is fueled by a profound interest in new architectures and accelerators within the domains of large-scale High Performance Computing (HPC) and Deep Learning (DL) frameworks. Chen-Chun holds experience in the design and implementation of advanced collective algorithms, as well as the integration of cutting-edge accelerators into MPI libraries. Prior to his doctoral pursuit, he dedicated two years to Large-scale System Architecture, contributing to efficient job runtime prediction and scheduling for big data systems during his time at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan.
