Marco Netto is a technical program manager at Microsoft Azure HPC supporting clients on large scale workload migration to the Cloud. Previously, Marco was a Research Manager at IBM Research. He has more than 20 years creating resource management technologies for distributed systems (HPC, Grids, Clouds); including extensive experience with Intellectual Property and innovation-driven environments: 65+ scientific publications and 120+ patent applications (90+ of them granted). He has a PhD degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and he is a senior member of IEEE and ACM.
