Biography
I am a Research and Development Engineer with an academic background in Marine and Nuclear Engineering. I graduated from the US Naval Academy with a BS in Marine Engineering in 1996, am a retired US Navy Nuclear Submarine officer, and am a qualified Nuclear Engineer.

I have experience designing, developing, maintaining, and operating remotely operated and unmanned undersea vehicles that operate to full ocean depth. I am also an expert in critical infrastructure development, protection and maintenance, aspects of electronic and information warfare, sensor development, characterization and production, autonomous sensemaking, machine vision, and high-performance computing.

I am the Chief Engineer for a portfolio of capabilities that include designing, building, and operating next-generation High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers and related facilities, as well as the HPCs that operate in these facilities. I have significant acquisition and program management expertise from conducting capability gap analysis and initial requirements development to designing, developing, testing, delivering, operating, and maintaining new integrated capabilities.
