Aline is a final-year Computer Science student at Rio de Janeiro State University and the first in her extended family to attend college. Residing in Complexo da Maré, Rio's largest favela complex, she is passionate about Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a focus on text processing, sentiment analysis, and speech recognition. Aline is dedicated to developing technologies that interpret and manage large amounts of data, enhancing how computers understand and manipulate human language. Having spent 3 years working at IBM as a Data Engineer, Aline is now focused on driving innovation in AI and NLP.
