Biography
Tim Osborne is the Analytics and Monitoring team lead at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The team is responsible for the streaming and monitoring infrastructure and operates Frontier’s operational database to give decision makers and engineers better visibility into their systems and enable them to make more informed decisions. Before Tim joined ORNL in 2021, he worked in the energy industry where he optimized seismic processing algorithms, enabled machine learning and data analytics on an HPC cluster, and created a machine learning enabled seismic processing framework. Tim earned a BS in mathematics from Hardin-Simmons University in 2007 and a BS in electrical and computer engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011.
