Jingwei Xie has a PhD in physical oceanography from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). His research focuses on high-resolution ocean general circulation models and parameterization of oceanic mesoscale and submesoscale processes.
