Gonzalo Brito Gadeschi
Biography
Gonzalo Brito Gadeschi is a GPU architect at the intersection of hardware architecture, programming languages, and heterogeneous workloads. He is responsible for developing the NVIDIA Memory Consistency Model and serves as NVIDIA's representative in the ISO C++ Study Group for Concurrency and Parallelism. Gonzalo is deeply committed to simplifying GPU programming models and promoting the adoption of portable, vendor-neutral parallel programming models. This dedication is reflected in his extensive experience teaching tutorials at supercomputing conferences and mentoring at numerous hackathons, where he assists research groups in parallelizing their scientific applications on large heterogeneous HPC systems using standard C++. Before joining NVIDIA, Gonzalo developed numerical methods for large-scale multi-physics problems in particle-laden flows at RWTH Aachen University's Institute of Aerodynamics.
