George Papadimitriou
Biography
George Papadimitriou is a research scientist at the Information Sciences Institute (ISI) and part of the Science Automation Technologies group. His research interests lie within the intersection of Distributed Computing and Data Intensive Applications. This includes concepts manifesting in High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing and Big Data systems.
In 2023 he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC) with dissertation title “Cyberinfrastructure Management for Dynamic Data Driven Applications”. During his PhD he was advised by Dr. Ewa Deelman and we worked on topics of online performance monitoring and analysis of large scale scientific workflow executions.
