Martin is leading the Data Foundation for AI team at AI Research Lab in Hewlett Packard Labs. His focus is on research and development of data-centric infrastructures and algorithms for AI. He is working on the development of data and AI model selection, context retrieval, data management, representation learning, and generative AI reasoning methods for optimization of AI outcomes in a variety of enterprise and scientific workflows including for modern agentic use cases. He has been with HPE for 25 years. Martin has PhD in Physics. He co-authored over 50 publications and 40 patents.
