Filippo Spiga is Technical Product Manager for Accelerated Compute Workloads and Performance. In this role he works closely with engineering and product teams to understand and analyze workloads performance across multiple verticals including HPC, AI, enterprise and cloud. He also works closely with computational scientists from several science domains to understand their needs and help them prepare their software to run efficiently on present and future NVIDIA Grace-based platforms. He has been developing and contributing in various HPC codes (mainly physics, chemistry and engineering) for more than a decade. Before joining NVIDIA he had gigs in both public and private sectors, including Arm Ltd and the University of Cambridge. His GPU journey started back in 2010, at the time of the Fermi architecture. He has been a long-term contributor of Quantum ESPRESSO and he co-authored various porting iterations.
