Dr. Christian Boehme is deputy head of the Computing group at GWDG and is responsible for planning, procurement and operation of HPC systems. He received his PhD from the University of Marburg on quantum and computational chemistry. He was PI in BMBF, BMWi and DFG funded projects on secure cloud based HPC services, as well as on user-centric performance monitoring on HPC systems. Currently, he is also leading work packages on the scaling of machine learning applications and the design of novel machine learning services in KISSKI and heads the Quantum Computing team at GWDG.
