Kazuya Yamazaki received his PhD in atmospheric science at the University of Tokyo. He joined the Information Technology Center at the University of Tokyo as an assistant professor in 2023. He studies atmospheric dynamics, visualization, simulation, and its offloading to GPUs primarily using OpenACC.
