Honghui Shang
Biography
Honghui Shang is a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She
received her BS (2006) and PhD (2011) from USTC and did her postdoctoral research at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society from 2011 to 2018. Her main research interest is developing the physical algorithms and numerical methods for scientific calculations (quantum algorithms, artificial intelligence, first-principles methods) as well as accelerating these applications in high-performance computing systems.
