Biography
Marisa Brazil, Associate Director, ASU Research Technology Office, is an outreach and engagement professional in the higher education research community promoting advanced computing and advanced technology resources to enable research, accelerate scientific discovery, and promote education and workforce development. Marisa directs the delivery of research technology services for the ASU Knowledge Enterprise, leads research engagement efforts and a team of facilitators at ASU, and leads workforce development efforts in cyberinfrastructure and quantum information science and technology for ASU’s Research Technology Office. She is co-PI of the collaborative project CIREN (Cross-Institutional Research Engagement Network), providing training for CI facilitators.
