Carlo Bertolli
Biography
Carlo Bertolli is a compiler engineer who works on supporting High Performance Application developers in porting their programs to GPU-based systems. He was part of the team who designed and developed the first implementation of OpenMP on NVIDIA GPUs, which was one of the main programming tools forSummit and Sierra Supercomputers, and was the basis for successive LLVM trunk OpenMP offloading development. He is currently working on the AMD ROCm team for GPU acceleration of HPC and AI applications. He holds a master degree and PhD from the University of Pisa, Italy.
