Mr. Thokozani Khwela is an engineer with over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, having served in roles such as development engineer, bid manager, senior project manager, and innovation manager. For the past decade, he has been a key contributor to the South African National Research Network (SANReN), a competency area within the National Integrated Cyberinfrastructure System (NICIS) at the CSIR. He currently leads SANReN's Services Development and Incubation (SDI) team, which plays a crucial role in supporting the research and education community by enhancing existing services and developing new ones tailored to their needs. His qualifications include a Master of Management in Innovation Studies from Wits University, an MSc in Strategic Focus, an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, and a B. Eng (Honors) Electronics from Multimedia University.
