Presenter

He received the MSc degree from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, in 1994, and the PhD from University of Porto in 2001. He has co-authored 12 publications in high impact journals and 46 other publications, addressing medical image processing and analysis, parallel computing and optimization of image algorithms in heterogeneous platforms. He has been a member of ANTAREX, a H2020 project, addressing auto-tuning and energy efficiency on HPC systems.
