Kevin Brown

Biography
Kevin is an assistant computer scientist at Argonne where he conducts research in the Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS) Division. Kevin mainly works in the space of network performance analysis and simulation, helping to design future computing infrastructure and architecture simulation tools. Before this appointment, Kevin was the inaugural Walter Massey Fellow at Argonne after serving as a Postdoctoral Appointee in the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), where he optimized network designs and communication strategies for Exascale supercomputers by utilizing advanced routing, quality-of-service, and congestion management mechanisms. He received his MSc and PhD in Mathematical and Computing Sciences at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2014 and 2018, respectively.
