Kinan Alattar is a 2nd year Ph.D. Student at the Network-based computing laboratory at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He received his B.S. in Engineering/Applied Physics and M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University. His research focuses on the intersection of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Big Data, working under the High-Performance Big Data (HiBD) research project which aims at achieving a “Converged Communication Stack” for Big Data and HPC.
