Dr. Vikram Sharma Mailthody is a Senior Research Scientist at NVIDIA Research and a founding member of the Systems and Storage Research Group. His work focuses on tackling core systems-level challenges in emerging data center workloads, as well as designing scalable GPU memory and storage systems. He is a co-architect of NVIDIA’s Dynamo product and a co-lead of the Storage-Next initiative. Dr. Mailthody earned his Ph.D. from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2022. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a Microarchitect at Broadcom and Intel.
