Suzanna Gardner, Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC), Purdue University
Rooted in a profound commitment to championing female empowerment, Suzanna's path was shaped by early encounters with the entrenched biases of a society steeped in misogyny. Breaking barriers, she proudly emerged as the trailblazing first woman from Uzbekistan to earn a medal at the 1999 Asian Judo Championship, a testament to her unwavering dedication to achieving the 3rd Degree Black Belt. She holds an M.A. degree from Arizona State University. She drives CI outreach and engagement initiatives at Purdue, fueled by a passionate belief in the transformative power of education.
