Biography
Dr. Jay Lofstead is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since 2010, Jay has worked on HPC simulation workflows focusing on data management issues as well as general I/O and storage issues for HPC. He also works in reproducibility, software engineering research, and trustable machine learning and computing. He is the author of more than 95 publications. He also works on reproducibility and diversity for the HPC community. His prior work includes the R&D 100 Award-winning ADIOS I/O componentization framework in use in more than 30 production scientific simulations.

Jay is a member of several conference and workshop program committees, including numerous co-chair roles, and he organizes several workshops and BoFs every year. He has served as student programs chair for IEEE TCPP, Students@SC chair for SC21, Inclusivity chair for SC22, and Reproducibility co-chair for SC23.
