Biography
Lauren C. Lewis leads Communications and Outreach in the Cancer Data Science Initiatives group at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNL). Working with key stakeholders, she creates engaging scientific communications and content while maintaining strategic partnership with esteemed professors, scientists and researchers to build a diverse, predictive oncology community and foster interdisciplinary research projects, focusing on biomedical digital twins. The group is creating an interactive portal to expand opportunities for biomedical researchers to use AI/ML resources, including those developed by the National Cancer Institute-Department of Energy Collaboration to accelerate cancer research and advanced scientific computing.

Lauren is an accomplished public speaker who has appeared on Telemundo and participated in numerous healthcare conferences and symposiums. Lauren has a proven track record of leading high-profile engagement and strategic communications plans for well-known tech companies.
Lauren completed her graduate work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore receiving an MS in Regulatory Science from the School of Pharmacy and a BS is in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology.
