With over 25 years of experience in communications and data center technology, Seong leads the Special Solutions Architect group at AMD as a senior director. He focuses on accelerating cloud and data center applications for compute, network, and storage platforms. His recent objectives include large language model (LLM) performance optimization, smart world solutions development, database accelerations, smart NIC development, high-performance computing (HPC) workload and storage optimization. Seong holds a PhD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and an MBA from Lehigh University.
