Dr Tiago Quintino is the Team Leader for Production Services, Development Section, Forecast Dep. of ECMWF. He and his team develop software for post-processing of meteorological products, storage, dissemination and perpetual archival of weather observations and forecast data. Dr Quintino's career spans 11 years developing high performance CFD software in the area of Aerospace where he developed numerical algorithms, followed by 8 years developing scalable data handling algorithms for meteorological forecast products and data storage.
